I am a 50 something (23 inside!), married woman, who lives on 50 acres on a hill outside of a town in Washington. I have three grown children (although they’ll always be my babies), seven grandbabies, and a kitty who travels South with us in our motor home for the winters.
I have been blessed in life beyond measure – and wouldn’t have missed any of the ups, or the downs of my life. I try to “maintain an attitude of gratitude” and that makes my life pretty satisfying and gives me serenity. I am passionate about my family, friends, people, reading, crafts, and especially – gardening. (Not that I’m that good at it, but I love it!)
I blog when I’m able, and the rest of the time you’ll either find me here in the garden, or gone visiting the desert for the winter.

Hi! Would you mind if I added you to my Blogroll? Love your work- written and gardening!
Snigs – of course I wouldn’t mind, I’d be honored! (wink, wink) I have added you, as well, so we can visit anytime. Although with your brood – where you find the time to blog is beyond me!
Welcome.
Jackie, I’ve enjoyed visiting your blog and wish I could have helped you pick some blackberries
)……..
The Zuccni pickles look great , but I have enough work doing the old cucumber pickles that are served mostly at Xmas time in the South….
I’ve had request for them this year and now is the time to do them if I can collect some….have a blessed day…Ginny B.
Ginny, thanks for stopping by! I would like to come visit you, but you didn’t leave a URL. Come again!
Hi Jackie! I decided to google myself and up pops your blog! I just opened a new store in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California called “Jackie’s Garden.” You seem similar to me in many ways, except for the taking off for the winter in an Rv! I try to get to a tropical place for a week in the winter. That’s the best we can do right now. ANYWAY… have fun!
